Today Cameron had a bit of a sick day. Not feeling well she tried to catch up on some rest from a bad night of being sick too. She has spent much of the day on the couch sleeping and appears to be half alive. After getting a second wind she tuned into the Disney Channel...her fav! A commercial for the NEW Hannah Montana episode came on. She then tells me that Hannah has 2 dates on Saturday! Being curious I say, "Really, what is a date?" Her answer (with her head tilted and hand in bent at the wrist) "You know, when you just hang out with each other."
OH MY! It seriously starts this young????

New Barbers
Lately Kyle has had a new theory on hair cutting. He decided that he would save the family money and forgo the bi-monthly trips to Great Clips. He invested in a do-it-yourself clipper set. Now my job is to be his barber! This lasted about one night. Before I attached the #2 guard, I reminded him several, several times that I have no experience at all with hair which left me NOT responsible for the outcome. He fired me in about 5 minutes and just proceeded on his own. Actually looking alright for the first time.
Well tonight I was busy getting the girls to bed and he needed a hair cut....now! He was not going to wait for me or my under experienced clippers this time. After spending more time in front of the bathroom mirror than I get to spend in one week, he stepped out of the bathroom with his new look. He decided it was time to quit growing his hair long on top..."I'm going balded anyway." He shaved off the hair that he still had. This new look might take some time getting used to!!
We now know where Cameron gets her special talent! Last week she was working on her cutting skills, with paper, and when her curiosity got the best of her she apparently couldn't stop. This is what I get for trying to get a load of laundry done!!! When I returned from switching loads I see Cameron modeling in front of the full-length mirror. I asked her what she was doing and as she turned around there was no need to explain. She now has bangs...in all the wrong places. The missing hair was found behind the rocking chair! (Enough to fill a quart-size baggie)
I might as well postpone the family pictures for a while...and do I need to remind these two that they are in a wedding in 2 months!!! YIKES!
